I am excited and humbled to announce “Hope Remains: The Hymn Project 2020,” dedicated to Emmanuel Bileya, Juliana, and their orphaned children.
During this season of pandemic, I recorded several hymn videos, sharing them on Facebook with Hosanna! and our wider community. It was also during this time that my classmate, Emmanuel Bileya, and his pregnant wife, Juliana, were martyred in Nigeria, leaving their eight children orphaned. This season has been one loss and sadness, but we know God is faithful. Isaiah 61:3 NLT: To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory.
While this album is free of charge, you are invited to donate to two worthy causes:
This music is a compilation of four different recording sessions – perfectly imperfect – given during a time of crisis to offer comfort and hope.
